Self-braking descender for rope access, evolution of the SPARROW 200 descender, developed for high workloads. It allows the operator to lower himself to the end of work, to position himself and to get back on it. Ideal in the event of an assisted lowering of two people with the device installed at the anchor point (the operator lowers the rescuer with the injured person) or in the event of a simultaneous descent of two people (the rescuer descends with the injured person).
Fields of application:
- Descent and rescue device EN 341: 2011-2A , maximum working load 200 kg, maximum descent height 180 m, to be used with TEC STATIC PRO rope - Ø 11 mm;
- Rope adjustment device / descender EN 12841: 2006-C , maximum working load 210 kg, to be used with EN 1891-A - Ø 11 mm ropes .
Main features:
- equipped with a retractable rope friction point that allows you to create additional friction on the rope during the descent, without using an additional connector The shape of the friction point has been improved in order to have even more effective string control;
- multifunctional control lever with automatic recall system that allows the operator to descend at a controlled speed and stop at the work point without stop keys;
- EBS ( Extraordinary Braking System ) safety system which activates when the lever is accidentally pulled to the bottom, reducing the descent speed instead of increasing it;
- equipped with a safety lever on the mobile flange that facilitates the installation of the rope in the passage of the splits.
